#4 - the sun

I'm a true summer-person. Så much that I'm convinced that I was born in the wrong part of the world!

The sun makes me happy all the way into my soul, and in my opinion it can never get to hot outsider.

But there is also some scientific evidence that the sun makes you happy.
The sun helps you to get vitamin D wich we don't always get enough through our diet.
Vitamin D is the "happy-vitamin" for our Body and actually makes us feel less low and more happy.
At least here in Sweden we have light-therapy during the dark parts of the year, to prevent depression.

So step outside and refill your self with vitamin D and feel happy! 🌞

#3 - bright colours

If you have taken the time to study the picture in my profile, you probably allready have figured it out that I'm a big fan of bright colours.

Bright colours really make me happy, and I like almost any colour (even though pink is my favourite).

You can find bright colours almost anywhere.
On clothes, flowers, lipstick and (like in my case) on someones hair 😊

So let the colours bright up your day and be happy!

#2 - pile of laundry

Okay, you might think that I've hit my head now! But I promise you I haven't.
I know that a pile of clean clothes isn't what you typically would put on a list of 100 reasons to be happy, bit think about it...

If you have a pile of clean clothes it means that you in fact do have clean clothes for you and your family.

And a pile of laundry also means that you have prioritized other (more joyful) things.
Maby a few episodes of your favourite series on Netflix, doing crosswords, reading a nice book... Or like in my case, spent four sunny days at the beach!

You see... A pile of laundry is a reason to be happy!

Four days of sun and swim at the beach were so worth it!

#1 - breathe fresh air

I know it sounds silly, but I'm fortunate to live in a house of our own in a bit of the countryside.
Therefore I'm happy that I can just open the frontdoor and step outside to breathe the fresh air.

I am aware that all people don't live like we do, and live in the city in an apartment. I have also lived like that in the past. But even so, you can open a window and stick your head out. Or you can step outside on the balcony and just breathe...

Close your eyes, let the sun kiss your cheeks and let the breeze caress your face and just pretend that you are in the middle of a blooming meadow...

Okay, that was very poetic. But my point is that you can appreciate the air where-ever you are.

So take a deep breath and feel happy!

My first 100-list

In the movie that inspired me to do this blog, the girl (Alice) cheated on her boyfriend so he broke up with her. To get him back and prove her self worthy of him, she started a blog and listed 100 reasons why he should forgive her.

Well, I'm happily married and have not been cheating on my husband! So my 100 reasons will be of something else.

At first I was planning of making my first 100 reasons to be very personal, but then I thought that I wanted others to feel that they can relate to the topics.
That is also why I write everything in this blog in english, even though my native language is Swedish.

I am aware that you might not agree on everything on my list, but perhaps (and hopefully) you will find more than a few things to agree on.

I know what my first 100-list will be about. But I don't know yet what the next one will be. Maby you can help me and give me some tip... Otherwise I have 100 days to figure it out.

My first list will be...

100 reasons to be happy
